Heat treat
We heat treat castings daily. We will set the process to meet your requirements.
Impregnation
We can treat your castings with a sealing resin to insure they won’t leak.
X-ray
X-ray allows us to “look inside” you’re a casting to confirm quality standards not readily apparent through other testing methods.
Penetrate inspection
We use liquid penetrant inspection to detect surface defects. We apply highly visible liquids (either bright dyes or compounds that radiate ultraviolet light) to your castings that penetrate exposed openings such as cracks, tears, pits, laps and porous surfaces. Any imperfections retain the liquid are visually apparent after a surface rinsing operation. When exposed to a black light.
Machining
After casting your component, we can perform additional machining procedures including drilling, tapping, turning and milling. This provides greater control over the production process. This provides value through improved lead times and inventory reduction.
Protective finishes
NFCA has a broad array of finishes available for your castings. Anodizing, hard coat, powder coat, painting, and plating among others are available to our customers.
Tooling Design
At NFCA, we thoroughly understand each step of the manufacturing process and can help you bring your design concept to a finished component. We can assist with tool creation and part development.
Core box construction
NFCA provides core box construction to optimize the casting process for your component. We can provide multiple different core box configurations to suit your needs.
